Deneb Aero / Terms

Terms of use

The terms for using Deneb Aero, its app and your account, during the private beta.

Last updated 23 October 2026 · in effect from 23 October 2026

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of Deneb Aero: the app you install on your computer, its Studio and flight simulator, and your Deneb Aero account. Deneb Systems (“we”) provides them. By creating an account or installing the app, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Deneb Aero for an organisation, you confirm that you may agree to these terms for it.

The terms of the Deneb Systems website at deneb-systems.com still apply to that website. Where they differ, these terms govern Deneb Aero.

2. The private beta

Deneb Aero is in a private beta, by invitation. The beta is free. It runs until the end of 12 November 2026 (UTC), unless we tell you that we have extended it for you.

After the beta, new analyses and new flights need a paid plan. Your projects and the results already on your computer stay available to you. We may change, add or remove features during the beta, and we may suspend or end beta access, for example to fix a problem or if these terms are broken.

Feedback helps us most. If you send suggestions or reports, we may use them to improve Deneb Aero, without owing you anything for them.

3. Your licence to use Deneb Aero

While your account has access, through the beta or a subscription, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Deneb Aero on computers you control, for your own or your organisation’s work. You may not:

• share, sell, rent or redistribute the app or your download links, or let others use your account;
• remove, bypass or disable its account, access or plan checks;
• modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it or an open-source licence below permits it;
• use it to build a competing product or service.

Deneb Aero includes open-source software. Each component stays under its own licence, and nothing in these terms limits the rights those licences give you; see Open source. We keep all other rights in Deneb Aero.

4. Your models and results

Your CAD models, results, flight models and exports are yours. Deneb Aero works on them on your own computer and does not send them to us. Your account stores your project records on our service; you allow us to store and process them to provide Deneb Aero to you.

You are responsible for having the right to use the models you import, such as geometry licensed from others.

5. Simulation results

Deneb Aero produces engineering estimates from CFD and simulation, with the assumptions and limits it reports alongside them. Its results are not certified. They do not replace flight testing, qualified engineering review or the approvals that aviation rules require. Do not rely on them alone for decisions on the safety of people or property. You are responsible for how you use them, for your flight tests, and for complying with the rules that apply to your aircraft and where you fly it.

6. Acceptable use

Use Deneb Aero only lawfully, including export control and sanctions laws. Do not interfere with our service, attempt to reach accounts or data that are not yours, or use Deneb Aero to harm people or to break the law. Keep your sign-in to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account.

7. Paid plans

The beta costs nothing. Paid plans will be offered with their price, billing period and terms shown before you subscribe; those terms will apply to your subscription.

8. Third-party data

The propeller catalogue uses performance data published by APC Propellers and measurements from the University of Illinois; see Propeller data. It is provided as its sources publish it, without any promise of accuracy.

9. No warranty

During the beta, Deneb Aero is provided as it is and as available, with faults it may still have, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, or for damage to aircraft or property that results from relying on Deneb Aero’s results. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100 if that is more.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use Deneb Aero as a consumer, you also keep your statutory rights.

11. Ending

You can stop using Deneb Aero and delete your account at any time in the Studio’s Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may end the beta. Sections 4, 5 and 8 to 10 continue after your use ends.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as Deneb Aero develops. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app before they apply. The date at the top shows the current version; using Deneb Aero after a change means you accept it.
