How we handle early-access signups and optional analytics.

Last updated 4 October 2026

This policy explains how Deneb Systems handles information connected with this website and the Deneb Aero public early-access page. It applies to information you send to us through these pages or by email, and to the limited technical information normally created when a website is requested.

1. Information you choose to share

If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, organisation, project details, and the contents of your message. Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential technical material unless we have agreed a secure way to receive it.

Deneb Aero early access

By clicking “Join the waitlist”, you ask to receive Deneb Aero early-access emails. No account is required. We collect your email address, any role or intended use you choose to provide, the general location of the signup link on our page, and the wording version and time of your consent. We use this information to understand interest in Deneb Aero, send a welcome email and prepare the early-access updates you request. We store the list using Cloudflare D1, separately from application accounts.

When you join, we queue a welcome email for delivery through Resend. The message confirms your waitlist request; it does not verify ownership of the address, create an account or grant application access. We keep the queued message and delivery records, such as attempt times, status and the provider message identifier, to manage delivery and investigate problems. You can leave the waitlist using the private link in your welcome email and confirming removal on our website, or by writing to contact@deneb-systems.com. The confirmation page does not use analytics and does not require an account. Joining the waitlist does not require accepting optional analytics.

2. Technical information

Our hosting and security systems may record routine technical information such as an IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, and error information. We use this information to deliver the website, keep it secure, diagnose faults, and understand basic service reliability.

To limit automated submissions and repeat welcome messages, we create keyed fingerprints of your normalized email address and network address. We store these pseudonymous values and the relevant times in separate abuse-prevention records, without raw IP addresses or email addresses. Signup fingerprints stay active for 24 hours after an accepted signup and remain if you leave the waitlist during that time, so removal cannot reset the limits. Attempt counters expire at the end of their counting windows. Expired records are removed in bounded batches during later requests and scheduled maintenance, so cleanup may happen after the active period ends. Our hosting provider can still receive ordinary request metadata.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check waitlist submissions for automated abuse. Your browser communicates with Cloudflare for this security check, using browser and network signals. Our server verifies the short-lived challenge token before accepting a signup. We do not send your email address or optional form answers to Turnstile, store its token with your subscription, or include it in product analytics. This security check is separate from optional analytics consent. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.

3. How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, discuss potential work, provide information you request, maintain business records, protect the website, and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations.

4. Service providers and external links

We may rely on hosting, email, security, and other service providers to operate the website and communicate with you. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. External product and project links lead to websites with their own privacy practices; review their policies before sharing information there.

For Deneb Aero early access, Cloudflare hosts the signup service, database and email queue. Resend receives the recipient email address, message content and delivery metadata needed to send the welcome email. When optional analytics is enabled and you agree to it, we use PostHog's EU service to measure interactions with the public Aero page.

5. Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information. Essential technologies used by hosting or security providers may still be present when you visit our pages.

On the Deneb Aero public page, optional PostHog analytics runs only after you allow it. It records actions such as exploring the demo, playing the film, opening the report, viewing pricing and interacting with the waitlist, together with a general page-section label. A random visit identifier stays in browser memory and resets on reload. We do not send email addresses, form answers, account identifiers, page URLs or referrers, and do not record sessions or create person profiles. The analytics provider still receives ordinary network metadata when requests are sent.

Your analytics choice is saved in local storage for up to 180 days. Change it through the Aero page's analytics preferences in the footer. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals prevent optional analytics even if you previously allowed it. Actions taken before consent are not sent later. This optional measurement is specific to the public Aero page and does not track private project activity.

6. Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, for legitimate business records, or to meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We keep early-access entries and their welcome-message records while they are needed to assess interest, provide requested updates and manage delivery, and review the list to remove obsolete entries. Removing your waitlist entry also removes its queued message and delivery records from our signup database; the temporary abuse-prevention fingerprints described above remain until their normal expiry and cleanup. A message already submitted to the email provider cannot be recalled, and the provider may retain records under its own retention policies. You can leave the list at any time using the private link in your welcome email, or request removal using the contact address below.

7. Your choices

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To ask a question or make a request, contact contact@deneb-systems.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children

This website is intended for professional and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the website, our services, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Questions about privacy can be sent to contact@deneb-systems.com.
