Updating Deneb Aero

To update Deneb Aero, install it again from the Download page. The installers replace the application and keep your runs, flight packages and the connection to your account.

Warning

Updating stops the simulation service. A run in progress is interrupted and resumes from its last checkpoint when the new version starts. A flight in progress ends. If possible, update when no run is solving. Activity shows what is running.

macOS

Run the Terminal command from the Download page again. A running copy is closed first.

Windows

Run the new installer, or the PowerShell command, again. Your runs are saved before the update and put back after it.

Linux

Run the install command again. Earlier versions of the image are removed after the new one starts.

The version of the simulation service is shown in Account ‣ This computer.

The flight simulator

The flight simulator is downloaded separately, the first time you fly, and updated when a flight needs a newer version. No action is needed.
